Michael Dinsmore brings over 20 years of specialized expertise in building enterprise-scale computational biology and informatics platforms for biotech and genomics research organizations.
Most recently as VP of Platform Technology at Editas Medicine, Michael led cross-functional teams of 25+ across Computational Biology, Informatics, Sequencing, Screening and Delivery & Editing. He architected cloud-native AWS infrastructure, established AI/ML governance frameworks, and enabled three IND submissions through strategic technology investments achieving 5x efficiency gains with a $5M+ portfolio.
Prior to Editas, Michael spent 13 years at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, managing software engineering teams building genetics research platforms supporting major genomics initiatives including GTEx, eMERGE, and HapMap, including CLIA-certified clinical sequencing portals.
